Design engineering prototyping - Problem solving in 3D scan -

We wanted to solve the problem of objects sticking to the installation surface in LiDAR and photogrammetry.
If that problem exists, clean scans cannot be made. Therefore, we developed our own product that can lift objects off the installation surface.
This structure utilizes a mushroom structure. The mushroom structure is a mechanism of architectural structure that tapers toward the tip and can support an object even if the tip is small.

The design engineering process for this prototype involved first modeling it in blender, 3D printing it, and then placing various objects on top of the 3D printed product to verify its ability to withstand weight loads. As shown in the image, the product can withstand the weight of shoes and other objects, and can even float on small objects such as a lighter.

This process allowed us to scan canulas.
As shown in the image, it is cleaner to scan with this product.
Scanning is done by LiDAR scanning.
